“Exclusive Opening of Garage Doors at the F1 Circuit for Emission-Free Mobility from Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd”

The 4th edition of the EV Experience at the Zandvoort circuit inspires visitors around the theme of emission-free mobility, featuring e-trucks, commercial vehicles, cargo bikes, e-bikes, and a whopping 35 car brands ready to excite visitors about sustainable mobility. Here, visitors will encounter traditional car manufacturers and new Chinese automakers in the pit boxes converted into pop-up stores. But this experience goes beyond just looking, as the latest models are available in the pit lane for you to take a test drive on the circuit yourself!

The initiator of the EV Experience, Maarten Pompen, has been driving electric cars himself for six years and can come up with a hundred reasons why electric driving is better. “But when I hand someone the keys and let them experience it themselves, they become instantly enthusiastic! By providing the opportunity to experience different EVs in a unique location and attending relevant workshops, we inspire visitors to embrace electric driving. Visitors leave with a wealth of knowledge and a unique experience on the circuit, making their next car choice undoubtedly an electric one!”

This year, there is also a significant focus on urban logistics; city centers are becoming Zero Emission Zones. Soon, combustion engine commercial vehicles will be a thing of the past in urban distribution. What solutions are already available on the market, and when do you need to comply with these regulations? All these questions for the business market will be answered in workshops during the EV Experience on Thursday and Friday. Electric commercial vehicles and cargo bikes are also present for testing on the Last Mile Course. Fleet managers looking to green their fleets are in the right place too. Through relevant knowledge sessions, they will be informed about transitioning to an emission-free fleet. On Saturday, the EV Experience is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for anyone looking to make the switch to emission-free transportation.
